Bonpoint

Bonpoint, the luxurious French fashion house for children created by Marie France and Ben Cohen is the most stylish, unique, creative and trendy children’s clothing with exceptional quality. Their prestigious brand beautifully arranged in stores all over the world is simply out of this world! It’s heartbreaking that we don’t have one in Kuwait. I personally purchase their clothing’s from Dubai, Lebanon, France, Switzerland or the US depending on where I end up. The thing is as soon as you choose one ensemble you have a hard time stopping and you end up with the whole collection! I can stay there for hours and hours and wouldn’t get bored! I seriously do not mind living there!

Checkout their website for more information and the different locations they also show a sample of the new collection updated as soon as it is out. Enjoy!

“Who is Alberto Pinto?” I looked at my sister in doubt… Are you serious? He is only one of the most astonishing interior designer, his work is beyond belief! Murano

Murano chandelier adds a bold, distinctive sense of style to your home. Among the fine Italian crystal glass makers, Murano holds a unique place. This is due to its only one of its kind history of viewing glass making as an art form of the highest quality. To this day, Murano glass products, and Murano chandeliers in particular, are up to the standards and do not disappoint in this respect. The chandeliers come in different colors and different designs and sizes to suit everyone's style. I particularly like the multicolored one if the ceiling was a solid color and the white one if the ceiling was busy with colors.

Quelques Fleurs- Basket of Flowers

Quelques Fleurs was created by Houbigant perfumer Robert Bienaimé, a prestigious perfume that was named after Jean- François Houbigant’s Paris shop “Basket of Flowers”.
Jean-François Houbigant (1752-1807) launched his perfume business at 19, Faubourg Saint- Honoré, Paris, in 1775. He was at the time only twenty three years old and is said to have arrived at the location of his business with a basket of flowers. Quelques Fleurs was launched in 1912. A perfume Houbigant would have been proud of.
Part of my perfume collection and a necessity is Quelques Fleurs, even though it has been said to be watered down with time by a company that bought out the line of perfume at one point, I still think it has an outstanding scent.

Iznik

A country I would like to visit in the near future specifically for its history of art is Turkey. Iznik Pottery, which is named after a town in western Anatolia where it was made, is highly decorated ceramics during the late sixteenth century. Iznik tiles may be seen in the imperial and religious buildings of Istanbul. There are many Turkish companies that sell iznik tiles in Turkey online, they have really beautiful tiles but it needs an artistic eye to put them all together. As you can see above the tiles come in many colors mostly blues, turquoise, reds and green. Not everyone enjoys the beauty of the tiles but for those who do let me know what you think?

Creed- Fleurs de Bulgarie

One of my favorite perfumes of all times. Unfortunately for me and for everyone else who likes this perfume it is out of stock in Kuwait so you either have to get it from abroad or order it online. Its by Creed called Fleurs de Bulgarie. It is a sophisticated fragrance that is made from the rarest Bulgarian rose essences with ambergris and musk to provide depth and tenacity.
Based on a perfume created by Creed in the nineteenth century for Queen Victoria. The House of Creed carries many perfumes but to me this is the one that really stands out.

What is Cloisonne?

Have you ever seen something so colorful that it grabs your attention immediately. Not only is it full of color but its details are very beautiful. So what is cloisonne? cloisonne is an enameling technique where thin wire partitions-cloisons-are filled with enamel. Its an art form practiced in ancient Byzantium and in China today. Cloisonne comes from the French verb cloisonner, to partition.
